Full Job Description

We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and highly organized individual to join our team as the face of our clinic. Our receptionists play a vital role in creating an exceptional patient experience and keeping our fast-paced office running smoothly.

What You'll Do

As our receptionist, you will help ensure patients have an outstanding experience from the moment they walk through our doors until they leave.

Responsibilities include:

Greeting patients with a warm, welcoming attitude
Answering phone calls professionally and efficiently
Scheduling appointments and managing provider schedules
Helping maintain the flow of patients throughout the day to keep appointments running on time
Verifying insurance benefits and explaining coverage to patients
Assisting patients with paperwork and check-in/check-out procedures
Collecting payments
Communicating with insurance companies regarding patient benefits and eligibility
Assisting the clinical team with daily office operations and administrative tasks
Helping create a positive, upbeat atmosphere for both patients and coworkers

What We're Looking For

Preferred Qualifications

Previous medical, dental, chiropractic, or healthcare office experience preferred
Experience with insurance verification and benefits analysis is a plus
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is beneficial
Experience with scheduling software and multi-line phone systems preferred

Hours (30 hours per week):

Monday: 8:00 AM–6:15 PM (lunch 12:30–1:30 PM)
Tuesday: 12:00–5:15 PM
Wednesday: 8:00 AM–5:15 PM (lunch 12:15–1:15 PM)
Thursday: Off
Friday: 9:00 AM–5:15 PM (lunch 1:00–2:00 PM)

Benefits:
We do not currently offer health insurance; however, we do provide complimentary chiropractic care as well as employee discounts on other services offered within the clinic.
