Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Front of House Manager to lead our hospitality team and ensure an exceptional guest experience. In this dynamic role, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and uphold the highest standards of food safety, customer service, and restaurant management. Your leadership will inspire team members to deliver memorable dining experiences while maintaining efficient workflow and profitability. Responsibilities

Supervise front-of-house operations, including greeting guests, seating arrangements, and ensuring prompt service
Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to foster a motivated and professional team
Oversee food preparation and presentation standards, ensuring quality control across all service areas
Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation
Monitor inventory control processes to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste
Enforce food safety protocols and hygiene standards in compliance with health regulations
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism to ensure guest satisfaction
Assist with shift management, coordinating tasks to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods
Conduct staff interviews, onboarding, and ongoing training to build a strong hospitality team
Analyze profit and loss reports to identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost savings

Skills

Proven experience in food service management within casual dining or fine dining environments
Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; proficient in cash handling and basic math skills
Extensive background in supervising teams, managing hospitality operations, and training staff effectively
Familiarity with food safety management practices and food handling procedures
Excellent communication skills for managerial conversations, team leadership, and customer interactions
Experience with inventory control, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis in a restaurant setting
Ability to manage shift schedules efficiently while maintaining high standards of service quality
Culinary experience or kitchen management knowledge is a plus but not mandatory
Demonstrated leadership in managing hospitality teams with a focus on team training & development
Background in managing catering events or banquet services is advantageous
