Join our growing healthcare team as a Medical Receptionist, where you will be the friendly face and organized voice of our medical practice. This vital role ensures smooth daily operations by managing patient interactions, coordinating appointments, and maintaining accurate medical records. <Responsibilities>

Greet patients warmly and handle all front desk activities with professionalism and enthusiasm
Schedule appointments accurately using electronic health record (EHR) system
Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance verification, and collect patient payments
Answer multi-line phone systems promptly, providing exceptional patient service and clear communication
Maintain and update patient records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and proper documentation review
Assist with medical administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing medical records using EHR system

<Qualifications>

Proven experience in a medical office setting or healthcare environment with strong clerical and administrative skills
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems
Knowledge of medical terminology
Ability to verify insurance benefits and perform Medicare/Medicare-related tasks efficiently
Excellent phone etiquette, typing skills (including 10-key), and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and office management tasks
