Full Job Description

Loan Support Specialist I

Location: Cassville, MO

Department: Loan Operations/Credit Administration

Reports to: Chief Credit Administration Officer

Hours: Full-Time

Job Summary:

The Loan Support Specialist I is an integral part of the loan department responsible for ensuring accurate processing of paid notes, accurate filing of documents, and clerical duties that support departmental operations of the Credit Administration department.

Essential Job Functions:

1.Filing and maintaining customer files.

2.Participate in paid note processing for all branch locations, including pulling paid notes from files. Prepare lien releases or deeds of releases, as needed. Electronically record documents, as needed.

3.Process incoming insurance for the Cassville branch.

4.Compile reports for branches and loan officers as needed.

5.Process and image various documents related to loans and lien perfection items.

6.Review reconcilements of various accounts.

7.Participate in review of documents for loan boarding, as needed.

8.Clerical duties as assigned related to stock and supplies.

9.Other duties that may be assigned by the Chief Credit Administrator.

Job Requirements:

1-2 years of banking experience required; loan operations preferred.
Detail oriented and very accurate in the performance of duties.
Self-starter who is organized, efficient, and has good time management skills.
Ability to multitask.
Team player willing to assist in other areas when needed.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to communicate in English.
Good work habits and attendance and ability to follow policies and procedures.

Physical & Environmental Conditions:

This position exists in an office environment requiring the individual to perform normal activities including, but not limited to, lifting, filing and retrieving, operating office equipment, etc.
Must be able to bend, stoop, push and pull file drawers and remain standing for long periods of time.
Must be very mobile because records and various machines and equipment used may not always be close at hand.

Working Relationships:

All bank management and associates

Customers and potential customers (in person and by phone)

Education:

A high school diploma or equivalent required.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Does not normally supervise subordinates.
