River Point Surgery Center is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Patient Care Technician to join our team on a Full-Time. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern ophthalmic surgery center where patient care, teamwork, and professionalism are top priorities.

As a valued member of our clinical team, you will play an important role in providing exceptional care and ensuring patients have a positive experience before and after surgery.

Position Summary

Under the direction of registered nurses and clinical leadership, the CNA/Patient Care Technician assists patients throughout the pre-operative and post-operative process while supporting the clinical team in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Assist patients through the pre-operative and post-operative process.
Obtain and document vital signs following training and competency assessment.
Escort and transport patients throughout the facility.
Assist patients with comfort measures, refreshments, and warm blankets.
Prepare patient bays and assist with room turnover between patients.
Clean and disinfect patient care areas and shared equipment.
Restock supplies, linens, and patient care areas to ensure readiness for patients.
Assist with patient positioning and transportation to procedure rooms.
Help maintain an organized, clean, and efficient clinical environment.
Communicate professionally and effectively with patients, visitors, physicians, and coworkers.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
Completion of an approved Certified Nursing Assistant program.
Current Colorado CNA certification.
BLS Certification within 30 days of hire.

Preferred:

Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) experience.
Ophthalmology experience.

Compensation: Competitive and based on experience and qualifications.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
