About Us

Hyper Flow Service is a growing plumbing, drain, and excavation company seeking an experienced Manager to lead our plumbing service department.

This is not an entry-level management role. We are seeking a hands-on leader with strong plumbing experience, licensing, and previous leadership experience within the plumbing industry.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and solutions-focused, with the ability to support technicians, maintain operational efficiency, and help strengthen department performance. This role requires strong communication, technical knowledge, and the ability to lead by example while maintaining a high standard of customer service and workmanship.

We are specifically seeking someone with strong experience in plumbing service, water heater installation and diagnostics, and technician training/development. Experience with boilers is highly valued.

Responsibilities

Lead and support plumbing service technicians in the field
Oversee daily service operations and technician performance
Train, mentor, and coach technicians on plumbing best practices, diagnostics, repairs, and installation standards
Provide technical guidance on water heaters, tankless systems, plumbing troubleshooting, and service repairs
Conduct technician ride-alongs, evaluations, and hands-on training as needed
Review completed jobs, invoices, photos, and job summaries for accuracy and completeness
Assist in resolving customer concerns and callbacks
Work closely with dispatch and office staff to ensure smooth daily operations
Monitor workflow and support efficient scheduling and technician productivity
Assist with hiring, onboarding, and technician development
Maintain high standards for customer experience, workmanship, professionalism, and safety

Required Qualifications:

Current Plumbing License (Required)
Minimum 5+ years of plumbing experience
Previous management or leadership experience within the plumbing industry
Strong knowledge of water heater installation, repair, diagnostics, and troubleshooting (tank and tankless)
Ability to train and mentor technicians in plumbing systems and repairs
Strong understanding of residential and/or commercial plumbing systems
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Preferred / Bonus Experience:

Boiler installation, diagnostics, and repair experience
ServiceTitan experience
Drain and sewer experience
Experience leading technician development and department performance
