Job Summary:
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing complex broadband and telecommunications projects from initiation through completion. This role ensures that all projects — including fiber and wireless network builds — are delivered safely on time, within budget, and in full compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
The Project Manager serves as a key liaison between internal teams, contractors, vendors, and permitting agencies, ensuring clear communication, efficient execution, and accountability across all phases of project delivery. The Project Manager is accountable for client satisfaction, proactive communication, and successful delivery of assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution
- Lead the planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution of broadband infrastructure projects, including fiber, fixed wireless, and hybrid builds.
- Define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with company goals and client expectations.
- Oversee all aspects of project management — from permitting and design through construction, testing, and closeout.
- Maintain and communicate detailed project timelines, resource plans, and progress reports.
Coordination & Communication
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned projects, ensuring effective communication among internal departments, external contractors, and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with engineering, permitting, procurement, and field operations to resolve issues and maintain project momentum.
- Facilitate regular project meetings and provide timely updates on risks, milestones, and change orders.
· Coordinate staffing requirements with Engineering, Construction, and PMO leadership to ensure projects are appropriately resourced throughout the project lifecycle.
Financial Management
- Develop and manage project budgets, cost forecasts, and expenditure tracking.
- Review contractor bids, change orders, and invoices for accuracy and alignment with project budgets.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend strategies to improve financial performance.
- Monitor project profitability and recommend corrective actions to maintain financial performance.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure all construction and installation activities meet company standards, technical specifications, and safety requirements.
- Oversee documentation of as-builts, inspections, and quality control measures.
- Manage adherence to regulatory, environmental, and permitting conditions.
Risk & Issue Management
- Anticipate potential delays, bottlenecks, or conflicts and develop mitigation strategies.
- Maintain proactive risk registers and coordinate contingency plans as needed.
- Ensure escalation and resolution of project-critical issues in a timely manner.
Leadership & Mentorship
· Develop and maintain strong client relationships by providing proactive communication, managing expectations, and ensuring successful project delivery.
- Provide direction and support to project coordinators, field supervisors, and cross-functional team members.
- Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and teamwork.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and project management best practices.
What We Are Searching For (Required Skills/Abilities):
· Proven success managing large-scale network or infrastructure projects, including fiber optic or wireless deployments.
· Strong understanding of permitting, right-of-way processes, and municipal coordination.
· Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar.
· Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced environments.
· Knowledge of funding compliance (e.g., BEAD, NTIA, RDOF) a plus.
Education/Certifications/Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Business, or related field required; PMP certification preferred.
· 5+ years of project management experience in broadband, telecommunications, utilities, or construction.

Base Pay: $90,000 – $115,000
