We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Nanny and Household Manager to provide exceptional care for our child and oversee household operations in a warm, dynamic environment. Duties
- Provide attentive, personalized childcare for 3 yo toddler ensuring his safety, development, and happiness
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to dietary needs and preferences, incorporating meal planning and preparation skills
- Assist with preschool activities, educational play, and developmental milestones to foster growth and curiosity
- Support compassionate caregiving and tailored activities
- Manage household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, organizing supplies, and maintaining a tidy living environment through residential housekeeping
- Offer transportation assistance for school runs, appointments, or outings to ensure punctuality and safety with provided vehicle (background check will be required)
- Administer first aid and CPR when necessary, following safety protocols to handle emergencies
- Coordinate with other caregivers or service providers to maintain seamless household operations
- Engage in babysitting duties as needed for date nights or special occasions
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in private homes, daycare centers, or similar settings
- Demonstrated ability to care for toddler with patience and professionalism
- Experience working with individuals with special needs is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of childcare best practices including preschool activities and developmental milestones
- Valid certification in first aid and CPR from recognized organizations
- Excellent cleaning skills combined with residential housekeeping experience to keep the home organized and hygienic
- Ability to prepare healthy meals and snacks with attention to dietary restrictions
- Compassionate caregiver with nurturing qualities who is proactive in addressing children’s needs while maintaining household efficiency
In general, seeking a proactive, reliable and organized individual to help run our household smoothly while providing love and safe care for our 3 year old boy. Strong communication, high discretion and an autonomous work style are needed. Childcare responsibilities to evolve with expectation to be approximately 75% childcare responsibilities and 25% household manager. Approximately 20-30 hours per week that is negotiable and varies with needs and experience.
Household Management (25%)
- Maintain daily order: tidy common areas, load/unload the dishwasher, and manage family laundry.
- Run routine errands including grocery shopping and household restocking.
- Manage household inventories and organization projects
- Assist with light meal prep or family dinner organization as needed.
- Professional experience as a nanny, family assistant, or household manager is preferred with verifiable references from past private employers.
Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour
