Tow Truck Driver (Non-CDL / Light-Duty)
Company: DMV Towing LLC
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $800.00 per week (Fixed / Flat Rate)
About Us
DMV Towing LLC is a reliable, professional vehicle transport and towing provider serving Maryland and the surrounding areas. We pride ourselves on offering prompt, safe, and dependable solutions for hauling motor vehicles. We are looking for hard-working, trustworthy drivers to join our team and help us maintain our high standards of service.
The Role
We are seeking a dependable Tow Truck Driver to operate our light-duty / non-CDL equipment (like standard flatbeds or car haulers). A standard driver’s license is all that is required to apply. If you have a clean driving record and a strong work ethic, we will train you on our specific equipment and safety procedures.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
- Safely load, secure, and transport passenger vehicles and light machinery to their destinations.
- Operate flatbeds, car haulers, or wheel-lift trucks responsibly and in full compliance with traffic laws.
- Perform basic daily pre-trip safety checks on your assigned truck (checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and rigging straps).
- Maintain open, clear communication with dispatch regarding ETAs, job progress, and completions.
- Provide professional customer service, ensuring all vehicles are handled with maximum care.
What We’re Looking For (Requirements)
- License: Valid standard Driver’s License (Class C) with a clean, safe driving history.
- CDL: Not Required.
- Medical: Must have, or be able to easily pass, a standard DOT Medical Card examination (this is a simple, basic health/vision check legally required in MD for driving commercial trucks over 10,000 lbs).
- Reliability: Strong punctuality, a professional attitude, and a willingness to work hard.
- Experience: Prior professional driving, delivery, or towing experience is a great bonus, but we are fully willing to train the right person.
Why Join Us? (Benefits & Perks)
- Stable Pay: Predictable, fixed income of $800 per week—no worrying about fluctuating hours or low-volume days.
- Paid Training: Complete hands-on training on how to properly hook, lift, and tie down vehicles.
- Quality Equipment: Work with clean, well-maintained trucks and professional towing gear.
