Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Food Runner and Cashier, where your energy and enthusiasm will elevate the cafe experience for every guest. In this vital role, you will be the friendly face that ensures food reaches all customers and suites promptly and accurately while providing exceptional customer service. Your multitasking skills and attention to detail will help create a lively, welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Whether delivering delicious meals to suites ,the cafe or handling transactions at the POS system, your contribution is key to our vibrant hospitality environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary and customer service skills in a fast-paced setting.

Duties

Safely handle and transport food orders from the kitchen to dining area and suites, ensuring quality and presentation standards are maintained.
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed for the cafe 's to-go and online ordering.
Provide in-person customer service by greeting guests in cafe and suites, answering menu questions, and addressing special requests with a positive attitude. Must be available to work Wednesday - Saturday between 8:00 am - 10:00pm. Off-site events may require you to work until 10:00 pm. We welcome ages 18 -25 to apply for positions. Qualified candidates will be notified immediately. Zoom Meeting interviews will be scheduled for hiring process. We're looking to fill these positions within a week.
Operate POS systems such as Toast POS accurately to process orders and payments swiftly. All employees will be trained on POS systems.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards through regular cleaning of workstations, dining area, restocking, and kitchen equipment in accordance with food safety regulations.
Company uniform shirts are provided.
Support lifting tasks using safe lifting practices when handling supplies or equipment necessary for food running or cafe operations.
Previous food service experience in a restaurant, hotel, or short order setting is highly desirable. Hospitality and Exceptional Customer Service Experience Is Required.
Familiarity with food handling, food safety protocols, and basic food preparation techniques.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of cafe operations including opening and closing procedures, serving, and guest services contributes to seamless service delivery. Proper training will be provided as well.
Trash must be placed into designated bins at the end of each day by employees
