Execute all activities withing the LTC production facility, including the testing/production of new liquids and ingredients, maintenance of the production equipment, cleaning of the facility, calibration and verification of lab equipment, collaboration with internal partners and maintaining documentation to ensure the safety and compliance of all activities.
Accountabilities:
Conduct Production Runs for the Liquid Technology Center
- Oversee the testing and packaging of all liquid within the LTC including beer, RTD, LRB and Spirits.
- Work with internal teams to scale up proposed formulations to small scale batches, providing reports and sensory shipments.
Maintain the assets and ensures compliance of the LTC.
- Maintains and owns the equipment, lab instruments, master cleaning schedule, production schedule and ordering/inventory for the LTC.
- Records and tracks all liquid movements in the LTC to stay TTB and BRC compliant. Includes maintaining SOPs, production records and other critical documentation.
Support the key objectives of the LTC.
- Participate in activities that focus on expanding capacity, reducing costs, mitigating risks and transforming the business.
- Work with the brewery and technical teams when implementing new recipes or optimizing equipment.

Own:
- Execute all activities within the LTC including innovation testing, ingredient verification, sensory benchtops, analytical testing, recordkeeping and equipment maintenance/cleaning.
Influence:
- Manufacturing, supplier, and vendor decisions in US related to innovation and productivity.
Veto:
- Supplier qualification based on severity of Audit results.
- Site specific policies, protocols, procedures, and innovation commercialization based on project reports.
Critical Relationships:
- Quality Team: support audit of current operations, suppliers and new product innovation with Quality information and data.
- Packaging & Brewing Technical Services: collaborate on Quality Innovation, Assurance, and Audit tasks and decisions.
- Supply Chain: solve production and Quality concerns, test samples, validate specifications and raise potential issues.
- Procurement: collaborate on technical supplier decisions.
- Product Development: collaboration for testing and analysis of innovation for sensory, analytical and can warranty testing.
Skills Needed To Be Successful:
- Degree or diploma in related field (Brewing/Distilling, Engineering, Operations, Food Science, etc.)
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within beer, dairy or beverage industry.
- Experience operating or managing distilling, brewing, packaging or other beverage equipment.
- Experience working with lab equipment.
- Knowledge of BRC Audit, GMP, and HACCP principles.
Compensation:
Compensation offered to prospective Team Members has taken internal equity into consideration and can vary depending on a positions’ location. The final agreed upon wage may vary based on the job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the individual.
