Full Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Extrodinary Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our office. This vital role is responsible for managing the full spectrum of accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting across all financial activities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction accounting, with proficiency in various financial software and systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial health of the organization while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations using software such as QuickBooks.
Prepare and record journal entries accurately.
Reconcile general ledger accounts and balance sheet accounts regularly to maintain precise financial records.
Oversee payroll management ensuring honesty on timecards and proper clock in procedures.
Conduct detailed account analysis and perform Excel data analysis for financial reporting and audit purposes.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information while handling data entry and financial transactions with high accuracy.
Assist with budgeting processes, financial statement preparation, and internal audits to support organizational financial health.

Experience

Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role within a construction setting.
Extensive knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks.
Demonstrated ability to perform double entry bookkeeping, account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and journal entries efficiently.
Excellent numeracy skills combined with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications—particularly Excel for data analysis and report generation.
Experience managing accounts payable/receivable processes.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity while maintaining high attention to detail under tight deadlines.
