About Sandstone Psychology

Sandstone Psychology is a growing outpatient mental health practice committed to providing exceptional care to our clients while creating a supportive, collaborative workplace for our providers and staff. We are looking for an organized, dependable, and motivated Office Manager to oversee our Cedar City office while supporting our Southern Utah locations.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys leadership, problem-solving, relationship building, and helping a team succeed. We are looking for a leader who is positive, adaptable, and willing to step in wherever needed to support the success of our offices.

Areas You Will Support

This position oversees and supports operations for:

Cedar City
St. George
Beaver
Panguitch
Richfield

Travel to one Southern Utah location approximately once per month is expected to provide provider support, strengthen office relationships, and assist with community outreach and marketing efforts.

Primary Responsibilities

Manage the daily operations of the Cedar City office.
Provide leadership and support to providers and administrative staff.
Build positive relationships with providers while offering coaching, guidance, and problem-solving support.
Navigate difficult conversations with professionalism, confidence, and empathy.
Ensure offices are operating efficiently and identify opportunities for improvement.
Learn and become proficient in our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
Verify insurance benefits and assist with insurance-related workflows.
Generate and review operational reports.
Meet regularly with your Director to discuss office performance, provider support, staffing needs, and operational goals.
Coordinate and lead support staff meetings.
Assist with onboarding and training when needed.
Maintain office organization, supplies, and equipment.
Pick up office supplies, meals for meetings, and other operational necessities.
Represent Sandstone Psychology at community events, networking opportunities, and occasional weekend company events to help grow our presence throughout Southern Utah.
Utilize Google Workspace (Google Docs, Sheets, Forms, Calendar, and Drive) to organize projects and maintain office communication.
Perform additional leadership and office management responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous office management, healthcare administration, or leadership experience.
Experience in behavioral health or medical office settings preferred.
Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHRs) is a plus.
Knowledge of insurance verification and benefits is preferred.
Proficiency with Google Workspace and spreadsheets.
Valid driver's license with reliable transportation for regional travel.
