Full Job Description

Established Cedar Falls law firm is looking for full-time Probate Legal Assistant to join a team of attorneys and other probate assistants committed to helping clients through the estate administration process. Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail will be valuable tools for a self-motivated new assistant to use in identifying assets and drafting court documents. Training will be provided, which will also include income tax basics as they relate to estates. Duties will include:

· Meeting with clients

· Reviewing and documenting financial information

· Drafting court documents and forms

· Communicating with clients verbally and in writing

· Preparing accounting records to track estate assets, income, and expenses

· Tracking and meeting court deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
