Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Development Director/Marketer to lead our growth initiatives and expand our market presence. The ideal candidate must have experience as a Business Development Director in a Long Term Care Facility, Skilled Nursing Facility. As a key leader within our organization, you will develop and execute comprehensive plans to identify new opportunities, foster client relationships, and collaborating across teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Duties

Develop and implement strategic business development plans aimed at expanding the client base and increasing revenue streams.
Identify prospective clients through prospecting activities, market research, and leveraging available software and platforms to track engagement efforts.
Develop relations with area hospitals, case managers, referral entities to ensure mutually beneficial agreements that align with company objectives.
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, product development, and customer service teams to create targeted campaigns and integrated strategies.
Manage relationships with existing referral entities to enhance customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnership growth.
Utilize Epic, Careport/Extended care, and other platforms to drive referrals and lead census growth
Collaborate with other facility team members in developing a strategic growth plan with the aim to growth and exceed census goals
Drive strategic planning efforts by analyzing market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform decision-making.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in business development management with a strong emphasis on skilled nursing facility census growth and development
Personable and able to hold conversations with patients, residents, families, case managers and referral entities.
Have a track records in marketing for a skilled nursing facility.
Strong skills in sales negotiation, strategic planning, and business development.
Proven ability to work with a group in achieving set goals and being a leader in census growth and development efforts.
Excellent communication skills with the capacity to engage clients at all levels of an organization.
Prior experience in marketing strategies related to business growth initiatives is highly desirable. SNF/Long term care experience preferred.
A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; advanced certifications are a plus.
Self-stater. Able to be independently motivated to achieve set.
Have a functional vehicle to carry out the duties of the position.
Willing to work regular, weekend, and after hours as deemed necessary.
Must have a go-getter attitude. Must be ambitious and dedicated to the realization of goals.
