POSITIONS PURPOSE
The Director of College of Health Science Operations provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to the College of Health Sciences (CoHS), working closely with the Senior Director and Program Directors to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This role manages nursing student records, clinical site attestations, and accreditation documentation, while coordinating mass communications to students, faculty, and staff on behalf of leadership.
JOB DUTIES & ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS
- Administrative Support: Provides administrative support to the College of Health Sciences in large projects such as building the course schedules, budgeting, and other program management tasks; manage and maintain nursing student records in coordination with academic operations teams; work with CoHS administrative team to maintain clinical site attestations forms and rosters. Assists the Senior Director of the COHS with managing and maintaining accreditation documents.
- Communication Coordination: Assist the Senior Director of CoHS with mass communication plan execution to students, faculty, and staff.
- Report Management: provides reporting support to the College of Health Science faculty and staff; provide support to faculty and staff by running and delivering reports in various systems; coordinating with university departments to provide reporting support to CoHS faculty and staff; track NCLEX pass rates for graduates; assist the Directors of Program with faculty onboarding like clinical compliance tracking, electronic health records, reimbursements, and resources;
- Student Compliance System Management: Manages and coordinates the student compliance system which includes inputting data and providing reports to various teams of missing information; track, file, and manage Board of Nursing blue cards, letters, and other correspondence;
- Project Management: Serves as project manager for various short and long term project of the College of Health Science.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES & PRINCIPLES
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Ability to articulate and model the Mission, Vision & Values of Concordia University Texas
- Exceptional and highly effective written and verbal communication skills in diverse situations

- Strong organizational skills, ability to set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress and track results

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS
- Must be able to lift boxes up to 20 lbs.
- Must be able to sit or stand at a computer/workstation 5-7 hours per day
