Full Job Description

About the Job:

Cedar Dental is an established, private, general dental office and is currently seeking a part time front desk associate to join our dynamic team. We are looking for someone to help from 8-12 noon Monday through Thursday.

This is a position that will support management with administrative tasks, and reception. The practice is very team-driven with an emphasis on collaboration versus working solo. We offer a friendly, caring work atmosphere, a four-day work week and competitive pay and benefits.

As our perfect match you:

Have a High School Diploma or GED
Have experience performing routine clerical and administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files.
Filing insurance and handling claims
Reviewing the financial portion of treatment plans and collecting any copays
Are comfortable providing front office support, such as greeting patients and answering phones
Prioritize patient rapport and outstanding customer service
Show a strong respect for all of your coworkers, regardless of position
Are committed to adhering to strict confidentiality and ethical standards
Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development
Have the ability to work flexible hours if business needs require
Knowledge of Opendental software is a plus
2 years’ experience in administration preferred.
The ability to project a positive, warm and professional image in person and on the phone
Strong organizational and administrative skills – you see what needs to be done and do it
Ability to multi-task, take initiative and anticipate needs of others
Excellent communication skills
Flexibility – you understand that your job duties may change from time to time and that you may be asked to “help out” in other areas of the office.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
