Financial Coordinator
Blair Ridge Dental – Hiawatha, IA 52233
Full-time | Monday to Friday | Day shift

We’re looking for a Financial Coordinator to be the welcoming face of our office and help patients navigate their appointments, insurance, and financial questions.

Key Responsibilities

Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally
Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
Perform opening and closing front desk duties
Verify insurance benefits and obtain pre-authorizations
Discuss treatment plans and payment options with patients
Submit insurance claims and process patient statements
Monitor and manage daily schedules, cancellations, and no-shows
Handle incoming and outgoing referrals, x-rays, and records transfers
Coordinate communication between the clinical team and patients

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Previous dental office experience preferred
Experience with Eaglesoft preferred
Strong computer and data entry skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Detail-oriented with strong multitasking and organizational skills
Team player with a positive attitude
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
