Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Event Planner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for organizing and executing a variety of events, ensuring that each occasion runs smoothly and meets the expectations of our clients. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. The Event Planner will work closely with clients to understand their vision and bring it to life through meticulous planning and execution. Salary + commission pay structure.

Duties

Collaborate with clients to determine event objectives, themes, and budgets.
Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including venue selection, catering, entertainment, and logistics.
Manage event timelines and ensure all tasks are completed on schedule.
Communicate effectively with vendors, suppliers, and staff to ensure seamless execution of events.
Provide exceptional customer service to guests before, during, and after events.
Implement marketing strategies to promote events and increase attendance.
Assist with fundraising efforts for charitable events or initiatives.
Upsell additional services or products to enhance the overall event experience.
Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and improve future events.

Qualifications

Proven experience in event planning or a related field such as hotel management or guest services.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and vendors.
Knowledge of event marketing strategies and techniques.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Familiarity with banquet operations and logistics is a plus.
A passion for customer service and creating memorable experiences for guests.
