Role Description

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Staff Accountant or Senior Accountant to join our close-knit team. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to participate in both assurance and tax engagements across various business sectors, gaining multifaceted industry exposure. Whether you are an ambitious professional looking for direct one-on-one mentorship to kickstart your career or an experienced accountant ready to lead engagements, our firm offers clear pathways for professional development and direct access to firm partners.

Key Responsibilities

Assurance & Advisory: Assist with (Staff) or lead (Senior) financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations for diverse client industries.
Tax Compliance & Planning: Prepare (Staff) or review (Senior) individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal and state tax laws.
Client Engagement: Serve as a reliable point of contact for client inquiries, developing strong professional relationships and delivering tailored financial solutions.
Workflow & Leadership (Senior): Manage engagement timelines, assist in training junior staff, and perform high-level technical research on complex tax and accounting matters.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
Credentials: Active CPA license (Senior) or active CPA candidate actively pursuing licensure (Staff) preferred.
Experience: Staff Accountant: 0–2 years of public accounting experience; entry-level candidates welcome. Senior Accountant: 3+ years of progressive public accounting experience in tax, audit, or dual-track roles.
Attributes: Positive outlook, team-first mindset, strong organizational skills, and a passion for continuous learning and problem-solving.
Background Check: Must be able to successfully pass a standard professional background check and financial credit check due to the sensitive nature of client data.

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive Base Salary: $60,000–$85,000 (commensurate with experience and target role level).
