Embroidery Job / Machine Operator
(BASIC EXPERIANCE NEEDED, We will train suitable individuals)
Tasks:
- Knowledge of commercial embroidery machines, specifically TAJIMA brand.
- Hooping and preparing products for embroidery.
- Software and embroidery digitizing knowledge is a plus but not required.
- No direct contact with retail customers necessary.
- Retrieve designs from the computer and enter it into the embroidery machine.
- Enter thread colors into the machine, double check garment, count and style are accurate.
- Load and unload the machine with new/old hooped items.
- Clean, lubricate and maintain the machine making minor adjustments as needed to correct any issues.
- Complete the work order in a timely manner while meeting the quality specifications.
- Verifies the quantity of goods to be run per job.
- Preps goods for shipping.
- Secures supervisor’s approval for production run.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00+ per hour

Join our dynamic manufacturing team as an Embroidery Machine Operator specializing in Tajima embroidery machines. In this energized role, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting Tajima embroidery equipment to produce high-quality embroidered products. Your expertise will ensure precision, efficiency, and adherence to safety standards while contributing to the creation of visually stunning and durable embroidered designs. Responsibilities
- Operate Tajima embroidery machines with precision, ensuring accurate placement and stitching of designs on various fabric materials.
- Set up embroidery machines by installing hoops, loading design files, and adjusting parameters according to project specifications.
- Monitor machine operation throughout production runs, making adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards in production.
- Conduct dimensional measurements and quality checks on embroidered products to ensure consistency and adherence to design specifications.
- Handle materials carefully, including fabric and thread management, ensuring proper materials handling for optimal machine performance.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on embroidery machines to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Follow safety standards in production environments, including proper use of measuring instruments and protective equipment.
Experience
- Proven experience operating industrial embroidery machines, particularly Tajima models, is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of sewing machine operation, seam construction, and garment or upholstery manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of fabric materials, measuring instruments, and quality standards in production environments.
- Experience with manual fabric cutting (manual cutting) and sewing techniques such as serging and garment construction is advantageous.
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures, materials handling, and safety standards in manufacturing settings.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings or embroidery design files accurately and execute precise stitching accordingly.
