Full Job Description

Job Summary: Room attendants are essential to the guest experience. The room attendant is responsible for preparing a clean, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing room for the duration of the guest’s stay.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean guest rooms to brand standard at allotted times.
Making beds, including changing linens.
Restocking towels, toiletries, minibar items, and other amenities.
Responding to guest requests for additional towels or pillows.
Emptying trash cans or wastebaskets.
Polish furniture and fixtures.
Performing general cleaning tasks, such as scrubbing, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and dusting.
Communicate with supervisors concerning needed repairs in guest rooms.
Handle guest items left behind appropriately per department standards.
Practice safe work habits using appropriate protective gear and using equipment as instructed .
Awareness of guest satisfaction scores and proactive attitude to improve.
Receive feedback from supervisors and make improvements as needed.

Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Ability to perform responsibilities independently in an efficient and thorough manner.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects, push, pull, stand, and walk for extended periods.
Flexibility in schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings, to meet business needs.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
