We are seeking a passionate, talented, and customer-focused Licensed Cosmetologist to join our growing salon team. Responsibilities
- Perform professional hair services including haircuts, styling, blowouts, silk presses, coloring, highlights, balayage, color corrections, and chemical treatments.
- Consult with clients to understand their goals and recommend services and products that best fit their hair type and lifestyle.
- Deliver exceptional customer service that encourages repeat business and client referrals.
- Educate clients on at-home hair care, maintenance, and retail products.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized workstation while following all state board sanitation and safety regulations.
- Build and retain a loyal clientele through outstanding service and professionalism.
- Stay current on industry trends, techniques, and continuing education opportunities.
- Assist with salon promotions by creating social media content, taking before-and-after photos, and engaging with potential clients online.
- Accurately manage appointments and client records using salon booking software.
- Work collaboratively with the salon team to create a positive, welcoming atmosphere.
- Meet individual service and retail sales goals while maintaining high-quality service standards.
- Participate in salon meetings, education classes, and special events as needed.
Qualifications
- Current Colorado Cosmetology License in good standing.
- Strong knowledge of haircutting, coloring, styling, and chemical services.
- Experience with extensions, textured hair, braiding, wigs, makeup, lashes, waxing, or barbering is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication and consultation skills.
- Professional appearance with a positive, friendly attitude.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Passion for continuing education and staying current with beauty trends.
- Experience using salon scheduling software is preferred.
- Active social media presence or willingness to market services online is a plus.
