Sheppard & Co. @ COMPASS is looking for one experienced real estate agent to join our team as an Agent Partner.

This is not an entry-level real estate position.

We’re looking for an agent who already knows how to sell residential real estate, has successfully closed at least 10 transactions, has begun building a sphere and database, and knows they want to make this a real career.

You may also be reaching the point where you realize that building everything alone isn't necessarily the fastest, or most enjoyable, way to grow.

At Sheppard & Co., you'll have the opportunity to continue building your own business while plugging into an established Denver real estate brand, experienced leadership, marketing, systems, community relationships, additional business opportunities and a team that genuinely wants to see you succeed.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We care just as much about how you work as what you've sold.

You're probably a good fit if you:

Have closed at least 10 residential real estate transactions
Have an existing sphere/database organized in a CRM
Are self-motivated and take ownership of your own success
Follow through without needing someone to continually check on you
Are highly coachable and genuinely interested in getting better
Enjoy meeting people, developing relationships and being involved in your community
Are comfortable initiating conversations and following up
Like open houses, events, coffee meetings and opportunities to connect with people
Are professional, warm, collaborative and fun to work with
Want accountability, but don't need hand-holding
Understand that building a successful real estate business requires consistent effort
Want to grow into a sophisticated, trusted advisor rather than simply close more transactions

Existing COMPASS agents strongly preferred, although the right experienced agent from another brokerage would absolutely be considered.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

This is both a sales role and a mentorship.

You'll actively work buyers and sellers, develop your own sphere, follow up with opportunities, host open houses, participate in client and community events, maintain your CRM and contribute to the growth of yourself, and Sheppard & Co.

You'll also have opportunities to work alongside Amanda & Jeanne on CMAs, pricing strategy, listing preparations, buyer and seller consultations, inspections, appraisals, contracts and negotiations as you continue developing your skill set.

Systems + Infrastructure
Proven CRM strategies, Client Timelines, Transaction Timelines, Compass Collections, Marketing Center, established operational support and transaction coordination.

Real Mentorship

Pricing. Contracts. Negotiations. Inspections. Difficult conversations. Listing strategy. Client management. Business development. Lead generation/business development.

You'll have opportunities to shadow and learn from experienced agents.

WHAT WE DON'T PROVIDE

We won't build your business for you but will give you amazing tools and support you along the way.

We don't provide an endless stream of leads so you never have to create relationships of your own but we will always consider you for new lead opportunities when they become available.

We don't micromanage, but we will check-in , help you set goals ,and hold you accountable to those goals.

And we don't believe joining a team means giving up your individuality, but we do want you to leverage the Sheppard&Co. and COMPASS brands to create instant street cred.

We'll invest heavily in the right person. In return, we expect you to invest heavily in yourself.

Commission-based position with fair, transparent splits based on the source of the business.

Agents retain a higher percentage of commission on business generated through their own sphere and relationships, with a different split applying to opportunities generated by Sheppard & Co.

Our compensation model is designed to reward agents for building their own sustainable book of business while recognizing the marketing, operations, mentorship, lead generation and infrastructure provided by the team.

No salary or guaranteed income. Full compensation structure will be reviewed during the interview process.
