Assembly, Integration & Test Technician

Description
Our client is a leader in aerospace technologies, supporting space exploration and next-generation aerospace programs.

Job Summary
We are seeking a full-time Assembly, Integration & Test Technician. This role will support a variety of functions based on experience and growth interests, including assembling hardware, soldering and PCB inspection, harness builds, and testing of components and assemblies. This individual will also support environmental testing campaigns and work closely with engineering teams. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment, is passionate about aerospace systems, and is eager to learn and develop new skills.

Responsibilities and Duties

Follow step-by-step guidelines for building electrical and/or mechanical assemblies and document processes
Operate torque wrenches and similar tools to product specifications
Obtain IPC certifications for wire harnessing and soldering assemblies (as needed)
Assemble and solder components onto PCBs
Install project-specific sensors such as thermistors and accelerometers
Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware issues
Collaborate with engineers to resolve hardware problems
Build harnesses and wire connectors
Support propulsion module and spacecraft testing
Read and interpret drawings and written instructions
Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications and Skills

Experience with Visio, Excel, and/or CAD software
Experience with fabrication and testing processes
Experience with non-conformance resolution
NASA or IPC certifications (soldering, crimping, harnessing)
Experience with harness fabrication and vacuum chambers

Experience

2–4 years of experience required

Schedule

Full-time
Monday to Friday
8-hour shifts
Overtime may be required

Compensation
Pay: $27.00 – $50.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)
