Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Home Health Coding Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a certification in ICD-10 medical coding, understand medical terminology, record management and be a RN or LVN with at least 2 years of clinical experience.

Responsibilities
- Assign appropriate ICD-10 medical codes to diagnoses through Home Healthcare software
- Review patient records for accuracy and compliance with coding guidelines
- Communicate with healthcare providers to clarify information
- Ensure confidentiality of patient information
- Stay updated on changes in coding regulations and guidelines

Requirements
- Certification in ICD-10 medical coding

-RN or LVN

-Proficiency with Home Healthcare software and EMR
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Experience in medical office settings
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively from home
- Certification in current Oasis preferred, but not required
