Overview
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Front Desk Assistant/Receptionist to join our team. This role is vital in providing exceptional customer service, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth office operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, proficiency with office software, and experience in administrative roles or clerical support. This position offers an engaging work environment where attention to detail and organizational skills are highly valued.

Duties

Greet patients in a courteous and professional manner
Answer and direct phone calls and provide customer support via phone, email, or in person
Handle front desk responsibilities including check-ins and check-outs
Manage appointment scheduling- book, confirm, and reschedule as needed
Keep the schedule full by checking the recare and unscheduled treatment lists daily
Assist with administrative duties including typing correspondence, managing emails, and insurance verification

Qualifications

Proven experience in office management, clerical work, or administrative support
Strong computer literacy
Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Capable of managing time effectively and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience as a medical receptionist, dental receptionist, or personal assistant is a plus
Familiarity with dental software, specifically Dentrix Ascend, is a plus
