Full Job Description

Island Breeze Orthodontics is looking for an Orthodontic Front Desk team member with a positive attitude, effective communication skills and a willingness to learn and grow.

**This position offers 28 - 32 hours, M/T/TH/F schedule**

**2+ year of Front Desk experience in the dental field (Orthodontics or Pediatric Dentistry) strongly preferred**

**Some familiarity with Insurance preferred**

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Familiarity with Cloud9, Dolphin, Dentrix or OrthoTrac is preferred.

Front Desk personnel

(the responsibilities are, but not limited to):

-An ability to multi-task is essential as well as keeping a positive attitude (good vibes).

-Greeting all visitors to Island Breeze Orthodontics with a smile

-Answering patient phone calls and scheduling appointments in a prompt manner

-E-mail communications with referring offices

-Communicating with insurance companies to gather and verify patient benefits

-Knowledge of EOB's, submitting for payments, following up with insurance portals

-Effective and respectful communication between all Team members of Island Breeze Orthodontics

-Comfortable speaking with patient/parents/caregivers about insurance plans and coverage

-Check-in and seat each patient in a timely manner

-Willingness to help with records photographs, radiographs or scans when needed

-Restocking units, notifying when to reorder items, ordering items

-Clean up at the end of the day
