Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and personable Casual Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, the ability to handle multiple administrative tasks efficiently. As the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors and contractors, you will play an important role in providing excellent customer service and creating a positive first impression of our home.

Responsibilities

Answer and direct telephone calls professionally.
Welcome residents, families, visitors and contractors.
Provide reception and general administrative support.
Maintain visitor records and assist with office administration.
Communicate confidently with residents, families and healthcare professionals.
Help ensure the reception area is welcoming and well organised.

Requirements

Excellent spoken and written English.
A professional and friendly telephone manner.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
A caring, patient and approachable attitude, with the ability to communicate well with older people.
Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Well organised, reliable and able to work independently.
Previous reception, administration or customer service experience is preferred. Experience in aged care is an advantage but not essential, as training will be provided.
