Full Job Description

Counseling For You is a growing private practice dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to individuals, couples, and families. We are committed to maintaining strong clinical standards while creating a supportive and collaborative environment for our clinicians.

We are currently seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Limited Permit Mental Health Counselor (MHC-LP) to join our team. This position is well-suited for both experienced clinicians and recent graduates looking to build their skills and develop a consistent caseload in a structured setting.

Responsibilities

Provide individual, group, and/or family therapy sessions
Complete intakes, treatment plans, and clinical documentation in a timely manner
Work with a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, and adults
Support clients presenting with a range of concerns such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, and interpersonal challenges
Collaborate with clinical and administrative team members to support client care
Maintain a consistent caseload and meet session expectations
Adhere to HIPAA and confidentiality requirements

Qualifications

Required:

New York State LMHC license or eligibility for MHC-LP issued by NYSED
Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling
Strong clinical, interpersonal, and organizational skills
