Full Job Description

United Veterans Beacon House (UVBH) is seeking a DSS Senior Case Worker to supervise Case Workers to ensure quality services and compliance.

Founded in 1994, UVBH is a nonprofit organization providing emergency, transitional, and permanent housing for Veterans, individuals, and families in need. Our comprehensive services include case management, employment support, benefits advocacy, legal services, crisis intervention, and more.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field or a minimum of one (1) year of relevant supervisory experience.
At least two (2) years of case management experience, preferably within a residential or homeless services setting.
Experience in a residential programs serving individuals experiencing homelessness or with substance use and mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Provide coverage across shelter sites to address Case Worker staffing needs, including absences and vacancies.
Coordinate and monitor DSS driver schedules to ensure efficient client transportation services.
Support Program Manager in completing required daily and monthly reporting.
Lead the onboarding, training, and ongoing development of Case Management staff.
Participate in a rotating on-call schedule with program leadership.
