Full Job Description

We are seeking a Licensed Tax Consultant, or Enrolled Agent to join our small firm. We strive to balance work, life, and family, and promote professional growth. This position can be tailored to the benefit of the candidate and the team, with flexible hours and schedule. It does require some in office time in Medford, Oregon (especially during tax season) but also allows for some work from home options.

Duties:

- Personal, nusiness, trust/estate income tax returns preparation.

- Occasional bookkeeping for a few clients.

- Develop working relationship with clients via phone, email, texts, & web meetings along with in-person meetings.

- Assist and provide support and guidance to other team members as needed.

- Assist the tax team by receiving tax documentation from clients and distributing final client copies & records.

- Ability to work extra hours during tax season (up to 60 hours per week).

- Office Administration

Qualifications:

- LTC, or EA credential

- Have a PTIN

- Pass a background check

- Have 2 years 1040 preparation experience

- 1065 and 1120S experience and/or QuickBooks experience a plus

- Experience with Proseries and paperless workflow a plus

- Experience working with paperless system a plus

Benefits:

- Hourly, $25-$35 depending upon experience

- Health, Dental Insurance benefits available.

- 2 weeks PTO begins accruing upon date of hire.
