Join Our Team as a Part-Time Payroll Coordinator at Riccelli Northern!
At Riccelli Northern, we know that our people are the foundation of our success. We’re looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Payroll Coordinator to support our multi-division organization. In this role, you’ll ensure employees across all divisions are paid accurately and on time, while managing the unique requirements of union payroll reporting and prevailing wage compliance. This is a critical position that combines accuracy, confidentiality, and regulatory knowledge to keep our business running smoothly. We are seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Payroll Coordinator to support weekly payroll operations for multiple companies within the trucking and construction industries. The ideal candidate will have experience processing union payroll, prevailing wage projects, and certified payroll reporting while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payroll processing.

Responsibilities

Process weekly payroll for multiple companies using Paychex.
Review employee time entries, job costing, and job code information.
Process union and non-union payroll in accordance with collective bargaining agreements.
Prepare certified payroll reports and ensure compliance with prevailing wage requirements.
Verify wages, overtime, deductions, garnishments, and benefit contributions.
Prepare union reports and maintain accurate payroll records.
Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve payroll discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, labor, and company payroll requirements.
Assist with year-end payroll processing and other payroll-related projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of payroll experience, preferably in construction, trucking, or related industries.
Experience processing payroll for multiple companies.
Strong knowledge of union payroll, prevailing wage, and certified payroll reporting.
Experience with Paychex or similar payroll software.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Strong communication and customer service skills.

Ability to multitask, prioritize daily responsibilities, and meet critical payroll deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.00 - $32.00 per hour
