Oak Valley Hospital District is currently seeking a dynamic certified Surgical Technician for our Surgical Services department who will embrace our mission, vision, and values. Created to provide residents of Oakdale and the surrounding rural communities with access to superior quality medical information, treatment and care, Oak Valley Hospital District was formed in 1968 and has evolved to meet the changing medical needs of the local community. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, assesses patient/family health problems and resources. Assists in the development, implementation, and outcomes evaluation of a plan for nursing care provided by the nursing team. Provides technical nursing care and interventions to designated patient populations

This position requires providing service to a one or more age populations including an ill pediatric, adult through geriatric patient population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/ developmental age of the individual served.

Job Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Surgical technology School
High school graduate or equivalent required.
One (1) year experience as a surgical technician in an acute hospital preferred
Certification in surgical technology preferred
Current AHA BLS
CRCST Certification preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38.00 - $48.00 per hour
