Greencore is currently seeking a Inventory Cycle Counter for our Carson, CA plant.
Pay Range: $22.25 per hour/ DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE
Location: 18201 Central Ave, Carson, CA 90746
Employment Type: Full-Time
Shift: 1st SHIFT
- Schedule: Monday–Friday (Overtime/Weekends as needed)
- Start Time: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday (Overtime/Weekends as needed)
- Start Time: 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM
Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor

Job Summary
The Inventory Cycle Counter is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels through routine cycle counts, stock rotation, system transactions, and verification of materials in the warehouse. This role supports production by ensuring all raw materials, packaging, and finished goods are correctly labeled, stored, and recorded in the warehouse management system.
This position requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and familiarity with warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Cycle Counting
- Perform daily and weekly cycle counts of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
- Reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
- Verify product quantities, lot numbers, material condition, and expiration dates (FIFO/FEFO).
- Conduct inventory adjustments in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Warehouse Operations
- Perform all core Material Handler I duties including:
- Labeling and identifying materials, pallets, and ingredients.
- Operating material-handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).
- Supporting shipping/receiving processes as needed.
- Staging materials for production and returning unused items to proper locations.
- Assist with physical inventory and month-end counts.
- Identify and report damages, shortages, or quality concerns.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all safety policies, GMPs, and warehouse procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Report any issues that may impact food safety or product quality.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ years warehouse or inventory experience preferred.
- Experience with cycle counting or inventory control strongly preferred.
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain a company-issued certification).
- Ability to read/interpret labels, forms, and documentation.
- Basic computer and math skills required.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 55 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
Skills:
- Able to read and write functionally in both English and Spanish
- Comfortable reading technical manuals and interpreting diagrams
- Basic math skills, including unit conversions and measurements
- Understanding of basic algebra and geometry concepts
