We're Hiring: Experienced Tax Preparers (Tustin, CA)

Join a dynamic, client-focused team at Anchor Bay Tax & Consulting!

We're looking to hire two experienced Tax Preparers to support our growing firm in Tustin, CA. If you’re a tax professional who values client service, attention to detail, and working with a collaborative team — let’s talk.

Tax Preparer — Individual Returns with Schedule C/E Focus

Ideal candidates are proficient in preparing:

Schedule C – Sole proprietors
Schedule E – Rental property
Schedule A – Itemized deductions
Schedule D – Capital gains

Key Requirements:

Strong individual tax knowledge
Ability to manage in-person client meetings
Familiarity with modern tax software (TaxAct a plus)
Willingness to learn and adapt to firm systems

Bonus Points for Experience With:

Clergy/pastoral taxation
TaxAct software
TaxDome workflow platform

Bonus Points for Credentials:

· Enrolled Agent

· Certified Public Accountant

Compensation:

Pay-per-return (not hourly), negotiable based on experience
1099 independent contractor
Bonus incentives for identifying Financial Services opportunities

Location & Office Environment

This is an in-person role based at our Orange County, CA office. Client meetings are a key part of the role.
