Full Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A travel pharmacist opportunity is available in Chadron, NE, starting mid-August for a 13-week contract. This role offers a chance to work day shifts in a well-equipped pharmacy environment utilizing Cerner and Omnicell systems.

Responsibilities:

Verify medication orders accurately to ensure patient safety.
Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth operations.
Consult with physicians regarding medication therapies and patient care.
Apply pharmacokinetics principles to optimize dosing regimens.
Assist in maintaining compliance with pharmacy policies and regulations.

Schedule:

Weekdays: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Saturdays: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Sundays: Closed

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

Active pharmacist license and relevant certifications.
Proficient in Cerner and Omnicell pharmacy systems.
Strong knowledge of drug therapies and pharmacokinetics.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams.
Ability to oversee and guide pharmacy technicians.
