Summary Purpose for the Position
Provide overall education services support to the Child and Family Development Services program. Oversee the development, implementation, coordination and monitoring of a comprehensive education services program for all centers, in keeping with Head Start Performance Standards, and state and local licensing regulations. Provide training and technical assistance to center-level staff. Must have current physical exam, mantoux tuberculosis screening, and clearances.
Requirements (Education, Experience, Certification, Knowledge, Skill)
Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with 18 Early Childhood Education credits preferred. Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Human Development or related field with 18 Early Childhood Education credits. State Licensing requirements.
Five years’ experience working in early childhood education.
Must demonstrate strong written, verbal and computer competencies.
Must possess administrative management and/or specialized skills and knowledge.
Must be able to work with a culturally diverse staff and client base.
Bilingual preferred (English/language of majority of families in program).
Position Responsibilities
Implement PathStone’s operational policies and procedures, Head Start Program Performance Standards, funder, federal, state and local licensing regulations. Delegate, observe, monitor, evaluate and provide feedback to campus staff, Support Team, and Senior Vice President, CFDP regarding compliance and initiatives.

Provide regular reports on program compliance to the Senior Vice President, CFDP.
Collaborate with professional and community organizations to incorporate and improve educational and disability services for children; comprehensive services for families; and, educational opportunities for staff.
Provide regular monitoring of operations education and disability services through review of campus and program operations.
Complete monthly and annual reports, including recommending and implementing plans for improvement and/or corrective actions.
Conduct regular internal monitoring activities to guide program direction under Education Services; develop Corrective Action Plans and follow-up to ensure all items have been corrected.
Coordinate with ALL support staff to ensure program collaboration and crosswalk implementation.
Review and evaluate curricula and screening & assessment tools to be implemented throughout the program.
Develop and/or assist in preparing and updating service area action plans, training plans, and other materials to assist with program quality and service area accountability.
Provide support and TTA to Professional Development Coach(s), HFEC’s, ECEDSC’s, CDs, education staff, and parents in implementing education services.
Implement Policies and Procedures related to services for children with disabilities in compliance with HSPPS and IDEA Federal Law.
Participate in the analysis of the Community Assessment and develop the educational services, and disability services program design based on the need’s assessment.
Participate in the analysis of the annual Self-Assessment and develop program improvement plans to support program quality.
Participate in the development and tracking of meeting Program Goals, track progress and challenges that is occurring across the program regularly while analyzing areas for improvement for the next program year.
Participate in the development and tracking of meeting School Readiness Goals, track progress and challenges that is occurring across the program regularly while analyzing areas for improvement for the next program year.
Develop, Create, and provide School Readiness Outcomes reports in all Domains related to the Early Learning Outcomes Framework at minimum three assessment points per year(Beginning, Mid, End) for Head Start, Early Head Start, and Migrant Seasonal Head Start.
Provide sound technical support, guidance and motivate staff in their professional development through coaching and mentoring.
Provide annual orientation to all management, and classroom staff on Education and Disability Services.
Attend meetings, conferences, hearings, etc. at the request of the Senior Vice President, CFDP.
Implement and update the School Readiness Plan and Objectives; guide staff on implementation

Assist in the physical maintenance and care of the office such as sweeping, mopping, sanitizing and garbage disposal.
Perform other job related duties as required or assigned.
Working Conditions/Environment
Must be able to work flexible hours (some evening/week-end hours).
Must be able to travel (some overnight).
Must be able to work with cleaning products such as bleach and disinfectants.
Moderate exposure to disease agents.
Includes outdoor work.
Position must frequently bend and lift up to 60 pounds.
Transportation Requirement
Position requires automobile, driver’s license and insurance.
