General/Clinical:

100% Neuroradiology: NO weekends, NO evenings, NO nights, NO holidays, NO call

Comprehensive Stroke Center with Level I Trauma Center and active Neurosurgical, Neurology and Otolaryngology referral bases

State-of-the-art equipment including a new 7T MRI scanner, Visage PACS, EPIC EMR

Candidate must be proficient (or willing to grow) in advanced imaging modalities including MR spectroscopy/perfusion and fMRI. Basic fluoroscopic-guided spinal procedures and neuro spine plain films interpretations are also a prerequisite

Clinical responsibilities include interpretation of infant, pediatric, and adult cross-sectional examinations of the head, neck, brain, and spine, neuro-relevant plain films, spine service including diagnostic lumbar punctures, myelograms, and intrathecal chemotherapy, advanced and high field 7T MRI interpretation including MR Spectroscopy/Perfusion, CSF cine flow, vessel wall imaging, and fMRI
Research:

Expectation and support for securing intramural and extramural funding to develop hypothesis-driven research protocols

Build a robust clinical translation program for 7T MRI, bridging research and clinical environments

Experience with high field MRI and proven track record of academic productivity strongly preferred

Provider Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is $535,000 - $560,000. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
