Job Summary:
To contribute to the efficient operation of a school office and building so that the office’s maximum positive
impact on the education of children can be realized.
General Qualifications:

High school diploma
Technology and typing skills
Working knowledge of math
Working knowledge of a Student Database system, preferably Skyward

ESSENTIAL JOB SKILLS
Staff member will effectively perform the following duties in a timely manner:

Knowledge of student and employee database system entries and reports
Perform usual office routines & practices associated with a busy, yet productive and smoothly run office.
Maintain student/staff records as shall be required.
Receive and route all incoming calls.
Registration of new students.
Familiarity and/or knowledge of office machines.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with faculty, staff, and community.
Knowledge of First Aid for minor scrapes and bruises and familiarity with the incubation period of childhood diseases.
Must maintain office confidentiality.
Friendly, warm and welcoming to all who enter the building/office. Greet people, ask them what they need help with, and welcome them to the building/office. You are the first impression of the building and the district.
Ability to communicate effectively with parents, students, teachers, administration and community.
Ability to maintain emotional control under stress.
Ability to use e-mail and office equipment effectively.
