Full Job Description

BACK OF HOUSE (BOH)

DESCRIPTION:

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Back of House (BOH) Team Member to join the Toastique team! The BOH Team Member helps manage daily BOH operations with a focus on dishwashing, prep, and juicing. This role ensures the BOH remains organized, clean, and running efficiently throughout each shift. The ideal candidate is a hands-on team player who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.

Experience with large commercial juicers (GoodNature preferred) is a major plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Handle dishwashing duties with efficiency and consistency, ensuring all utensils, containers, and equipment are sanitized and ready for use.
Help manage daily prep and juicing tasks according to production lists.
Maintain high food safety and cleanliness standards throughout all BOH support areas.
Support team members with prep, juicing, and cleaning duties to keep operations running smoothly.
Receive and store deliveries using the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) method.
Maintain equipment and report any maintenance needs promptly.
Effectively communicate with shift leads about inventory levels, prep schedules, and supply needs.
Support FOH team as needed to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Monitor overall store cleanliness, including restrooms and customer areas.

REQUIREMENTS:

Proven BOH experience, including dishwashing, food prep, and organization.
Strong teamwork, communication, and multitasking skills.
Positive attitude with high attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with commercial juicing equipment (GoodNature a big plus).

COMPENSATION:

$15–$17/hour, based on experience
Participation in the tip pool for additional earning potential

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
