About The Firm

CLS Law is an aggressive personal injury litigation firm which only represents injury victims. We handle complex cases, generally including auto accidents, premise liability matters, and select medical malpractice cases. We also maintain a small docket, enabling us to best serve our clients and to ensure they receive exceptional results from the office to the courtroom. Our clients expect top-notch representation and that is exactly what we provide. The firm regularly litigates cases involving catastrophic injury and wrongful death, but also accepts minor injury cases and builds them to win.

Please note, this is a Case Manager I position, so the candidate should expect to have daily intake duties as part of their schedule. Regular intakes entail listening to prospective clients and determining if they have a case we can assist with, then working to sign up the case with an attorney.

We're hiring a self-motivated Case Manager to join our team who will focus their efforts on keeping the office running efficiently, working files, and interacting with clients. This position requires someone who is organized, communicates well with both clients and opposing attorneys, is an excellent writer, and can provide administrative support with an eye for detail. The firm primarily interacts with insurance adjusters, insurance defense lawyers, and large (often sophisticated) corporate defendants. We make it a priority to maintain quality professional relationships and to treat everyone that contacts the office with courtesy and kindness. Hence, the ideal candidate should be friendly, accomodating, and operate well under stress.

We are a small office and the candidate would have a broad range of DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES, to include but not limited to:

Respond to incoming calls & emails
Managing files in litigation & pre-litigation
Drafting and mailing regular correspondence
Managing Attorney Calendar
Completing tasks on client files as directed by an attorney
Setting meetings with attorneys, experts, and prospective clients
Drafting motions, disclosures & discovery requests as directed

REQUIREMENTS:

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office. We are primarily a paperless firm and use a host of software to accomplish daily tasks from e-sign and faxing, to document editing and labeling; an ability to watch training videos, ask questions, and understand technology quickly is a must. We will provide comprehensive training on our case management software. This position is in-office only, so you must be willing to commute to Central Phoenix regularly.

EXPERIENCE:

Prior administrative assistant or legal assistant experience is a plus. Prior law firm experience is desirable, though not required.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's Degree or Paralegal Certificate
