Full Job Description

Mainframe (Job Number #NCSK-031912) (Herndon, VA)

Travel/Relocation to various client locations throughout the USA

The position duties and requirements are as follows:

The Duties Include:

Responsible for Software Development using COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2.
Responsible for software analysis, design, development, testing and project management.
Perform and support 24x7 on-call duties periodically throughout the year. Write technical documentation, and research new technology.
Perform and demonstrate ability in using Microsoft Products for Analysis and documentation.
Provide guidance and training to lower level team members and users.

Applicant must have :

Degree in IT/Engineering related; Five years of experience as a Computer Professional;
Position requires proficiency in IBM Mainframe Technologies, COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, Teradata, NOMAD, Endevor, SPUFI, MAPGEN, Queryman, MS Visio, Easytrieve.
Hours: M-F 40 hrs/wk. 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.;
Salary: $70,000 per year.
