Otolaryngology Associates is in search of a Clinical Audiologist to join the team. Otolaryngology Associates is a successful, multi-location, ENT practice located in the Northern Virginia suburb of Washington DC. Our team is staffed by audiologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and surgeons, including a Neuro-otologist. Clinical services include diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology services for all ages within the ENT setting. Audiologists provide hearing aid, cochlear implant, and osseointegrated device services as well as vestibular assessments and audiometric testing including newborn hearing evaluations across three locations. Two sites in Fairfax County (Reston and Fairfax City) and one in Loudoun County (Chantilly). (CI and/or baha experience not required for this position)

Key Responsibilities of Clinical Audiologists at Otolaryngology Associates:
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess patients' hearing and balance issues, across the lifespan.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, audiologists and other staff members to optimize patient care and outcomes.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans with consideration of patient’s hearing loss needs, lifestyle, desires, and budget.
- Perform hearing aid dispensing/care related tasks utilizing best practices.
- Provide appropriate counseling and follow-up care for amplification. Deliver upon all service commitments to patients at the practice including but not limited to assisting customers with the maintenance of their hearing aids repair, troubleshooting, cleanings, and adjustments.
- Generate opportunities within the ENT clinic, in addition to outside opportunities.
- Establish and maintain rapport with patients
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation, ensuring compliance with audiology standards utilizes EHRs.
- Provide patient education on hearing health, treatment options, and device usage.
- Provide medical professionals educational opportunities related to audiology.
- Support and coach all team members to achieve practice goals and generation of opportunities.
- Utilize organizational and communication skills to manage patient appointments and follow-ups effectively.
- Complete documentation of patient appointments, and communications within EHR system/s.
Candidate must be detail-oriented, flexible, possess strong written and verbal communication skills, and have a strong work ethic. +2 years of experience is desired, but not required.
Qualifications:
· Doctoral Or Master’s degree in Audiology required
· Current Virginia Audiology license (or eligible for licensure)
· Current Virginia Hearing Aid Dispensing license (or eligible for licensure)
· Independent hearing aid dispensing experience
· Experience with adult and pediatric diagnostic audiological evaluations, with the ability to diagnose complex hearing losses
· Proficient in vestibular assessments, minimally VNG. Must be willing to learn VEMP, ECoG and ABRs if not experienced.
· Knowledge of audiology billing and coding.
- Familiarity with GSI, Audioscan, and Maico audiology equipment is highly desirable.
-Familiarity with EHR systems (CounselEar, eClinicalWorks) preferred.
