Full Job Description

Department:

Medical Clinic

Days and Shifts:

Full-time position
2 – 12 hour days and 1 – 6 hour day per week, 7:00am-7:00pm (days will vary)
Weekend rotation Saturday 8:00am-12:00pm and Sunday 11:00am-3:00pm

Description:

Responsible for answering multi-line telephone, scheduling appointments, routing phone calls and taking messages
Obtains insurance information and checks patients in upon their arrival
Greets and assists customers as needed
Other clerical support as requested

Requirements
Educational/Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent
Excellent verbal/interpersonal customer service and computer skills
Ability to use electronic medical record and other software programs
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English well
Experience in healthcare setting helpful

Group Long-Term Disability

Provides income protection up to 50% of monthly earnings to a maximum of $6,000 per month for disability following 90-day waiting period; available first of the month following 60 days of employment; paid by LCHC
