Overview

We are seeking a passionate and talented Chocolatier/Pastry Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. In this role, you will craft exquisite chocolates, desserts, and baked goods that delight our customers and elevate our brand. Your expertise in pastry arts, food preparation, and cake decorating will be essential in creating visually stunning and delicious confections. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary creativity while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality in a fast-paced environment. Whether you’re experienced in high-volume production or passionate about artisanal pastry work, your skills will contribute to memorable customer experiences and the continued success of our bakery.

Responsibilities

Prepare a variety of baked goods, chocolates, and pastries with precision and creativity, adhering strictly to recipes and quality standards.
Decorate cakes and desserts using advanced cake decorating techniques to produce visually appealing presentations. Paint very meticulously.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including mixers, ovens, tempering machines, and other specialized tools
Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards
Package finished products securely for retail display or catering orders, ensuring freshness and presentation quality
Assist in food production for large-scale events or high-volume retail needs while managing time effectively
Support food handling procedures to ensure safety, freshness, and compliance with health regulations
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Chocolatier or Pastry Chef with a strong portfolio of baked goods, chocolates, and desserts
Skilled in cake decorating, pastry preparation, and food presentation techniques
Knowledge of food safety management practices and proper food handling procedures
Ability to operate kitchen equipment confidently and efficiently in a high-volume setting
Strong knife skills along with proficiency in pastry preparation and baking techniques
Excellent attention to detail for recipe adherence, portion control, and product consistency
Customer service orientation with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
Willingness to learn new culinary skills.
