Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Sitework Estimator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for sitework projects, ensuring competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of construction estimating processes, excellent negotiation skills, and familiarity with construction management practices. The Sitework Estimator will collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to deliver precise estimates that support successful project execution.

Responsibilities

Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents to develop detailed sitework estimates
Utilize Bluebeam and Bid2 Win software to prepare and manage accurate cost proposals
Conduct site visits to assess project scope, conditions, and potential challenges
Collaborate with clients and subcontractors to negotiate pricing and contract terms
Perform quantity take-offs and analyze material costs to ensure competitive bids
Assist in project budgeting, cost control, and schedule development
Prepare comprehensive bid packages including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead costs
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of construction estimating techniques and industry standards
Support project management teams in contract negotiations and scope clarification
Ensure all estimates comply with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies

Skills

Proficiency in Bluebeam, Bid2Win, and other construction estimating software
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable contract terms
Extensive experience in construction estimating, including sitework projects
Knowledge of construction management principles and project lifecycle processes
Ability to perform accurate quantity take-offs and cost analysis
Excellent understanding of contracts, pricing strategies, and cost control measures
Construction site experience is highly desirable for accurate assessment of project conditions
Effective communication skills for collaborating with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in all work tasks

Pay: $56,057.53 - $67,510.14 per year
