Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, people-focused Office Manager / Recruiting Lead to oversee daily office operations while driving our talent acquisition efforts. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who enjoys building a positive workplace culture, creating efficient processes, and attracting top talent.

The successful candidate will be the face of our Charleston office, partnering with leadership to maintain a productive, welcoming workplace while managing the full-cycle recruiting process.

Key Responsibilities

Recruiting & Talent Acquisition (60%)

Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing through onboarding.
Partner with hiring managers to define hiring needs and create job descriptions.
Source candidates through multiple channels (LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and networking).
Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate interview schedules.
Manage applicant tracking systems (ATS) and maintain recruiting metrics.
Coordinate offers, background checks, and onboarding activities.
Develop employer branding initiatives and improve the candidate experience.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of talent for future hiring needs.

Office Management (40%)

Oversee day-to-day office operations and facilities.
Manage office supplies, vendors, and equipment.
Coordinate travel arrangements, employee events, team meetings, and office activities.
Support onboarding and offboarding logistics.
Maintain office policies, procedures, and documentation.
Assist leadership with administrative projects and operational initiatives.
Ensure the office environment is organized, professional, and welcoming.

Required Skills

3–8 years of experience in recruiting, office management, HR, operations, or a combination of these areas.
Experience managing full-cycle recruiting.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
High level of professionalism and discretion.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS).

Desired Skills

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, or related field.
Experience supporting growing or high-growth organizations.
Familiarity with HRIS platforms and onboarding systems.
Experience planning employee engagement events.
Knowledge of employment laws and hiring best practices.

Desired Skills

HR certifications (e.g., SPHR, PHR) preferred
Strong relationship-building and customer service skills
Attention to detail and time management
Problem-solving with a process improvement mindset
