Join the RedFin Charters Team
At RedFin Charters, we don't just book fishing trips—we create unforgettable experiences on the water. As one of the Southeast's fastest-growing fishing charter companies, we specialize in private and guided inshore, nearshore, and offshore fishing adventures while delivering exceptional customer service from the first phone call to the final cast.
We're looking for a highly organized, relationship-driven professional to join our team as a Tourism Sales & Group Events Coordinator. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys building relationships, helping guests plan memorable experiences, and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
As the first point of contact for many of our guests, you'll play a critical role in converting inquiries into bookings while developing long-term relationships with hotels, resorts, concierge teams, corporate partners, and event planners throughout the Lowcountry and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, text message, live chat, and social media.
- Guide guests through the reservation process while providing exceptional customer service and product knowledge.
- Coordinate private fishing charters, corporate outings, bachelor and bachelorette parties, family vacations, hotel partnerships, and other group experiences from initial inquiry through pre-trip planning.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for guests leading up to their charter, ensuring every detail is communicated accurately.
- Coordinate schedules with captains, guides, and the operations team to ensure every reservation is prepared for a seamless guest experience.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hotels, vacation rental companies, concierge teams, destination management companies, event planners, tourism organizations, and corporate clients.
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue through trip upgrades, multi-day experiences, merchandise, and additional charter offerings.
- Conduct welcome and follow-up calls to ensure every guest receives outstanding service before and after their trip.
- Represent RedFin Charters at networking events, tourism functions, trade shows, hotel meetings, and community events.
- Maintain accurate customer records and ensure every inquiry receives consistent and timely follow-up.
- Develop new business partnerships that expand RedFin's presence throughout the tourism and hospitality industry.
- Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to improve guest experience and increase repeat business.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, tourism, sales, event coordination, customer service, or business development preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable spending a significant portion of the day communicating with guests over the phone.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple conversations, reservations, and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong relationship-building and networking abilities.
- Highly motivated, dependable, and results-driven.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Professional, friendly, and confident demeanor.
- Comfortable learning new reservation systems, CRM software, and technology platforms.
- Knowledge of fishing, boating, tourism, or outdoor recreation is a plus but not required.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and creating exceptional customer experiences. This is a sales-focused role where success comes from responsiveness, organization, and consistently turning inquiries into bookings.
The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and never lets opportunities fall through the cracks. You'll manage a high volume of leads while ensuring every guest receives prompt communication and personalized service.
Because you'll be one of the voices of RedFin Charters, you'll spend much of your day speaking with prospective and returning guests. You should be confident on the phone, enjoy building relationships, and have the ability to make every guest feel excited about their upcoming adventure.
If you're someone who takes pride in staying organized, following through, building partnerships, and delivering exceptional service, we'd love to meet you.
