Charleston Branch Manager

Location: Charleston, SC (Remote. Opportunity for Co-work Space)

The Opportunity

Reporting Relationship: This role reports directly to Square One’s ownership group out of St. Louis, MO and works closely with company leadership on strategy, growth, and execution.
We’re looking for a Charleston Branch Manager to fully own and operate our newest market. This role is equal parts leader, operator, and growth driver. You’ll be responsible for driving growth through managing the local team, finding and retaining new clients, maintaining service quality, and ensuring the branch runs like a well-oiled machine.

This is not a “keep the lights on” role. We’re looking for someone who wants to build, lead, and grow—someone who enjoys being around people, understands business fundamentals, and can turn strategy into action.

What You’ll Own
Branch Leadership & Team Management

Lead and manage the Charleston team (creatives, editors, and support roles as applicable)
Set clear expectations, rhythms, and accountability for performance and culture
Coach and develop team members to improve quality, efficiency, and client experience
Be the tone-setter for the branch: positive, professional, and growth-minded

Revenue Growth & Client Development

Own revenue performance for the Charleston branch
Build and execute local sales and marketing efforts to acquire new clients
Strengthen relationships with top agents, teams, and brokerages
Identify upsell and expansion opportunities across Square One’s services
Partner with ownership on growth initiatives, promotions, and new offerings

Operations & Execution

Ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly—from scheduling to delivery
Maintain Square One’s service standards (quality, turnaround time, communication)
Monitor capacity, workflow, and utilization to support growth without burnout
Solve problems proactively and improve systems where needed

Financial & Business Acumen

Manage branch-level performance with an understanding of revenue, costs, and margins
Make smart decisions around staffing, contractor usage, and resource allocation
Track key metrics and report performance to ownership
Operate the branch like it’s your own business

What Success Looks Like (First 6–12 Months)

Charleston branch revenue growing consistently month-over-month
Strong client retention and positive feedback from top agents and teams
A reliable, accountable local team that runs smoothly day-to-day
Clear visibility into branch performance, capacity, and operational bottlenecks
Ownership trusts the branch to operate without daily intervention

Must-Haves:

Proven experience managing people and/or teams
Strong operational instincts and organizational skills
Comfort owning revenue goals and driving growth
Excellent communication skills (internally and with clients)
Ability to lead with both empathy and accountability
High ownership mentality—you don’t wait to be told

Nice-to-Haves:

Experience in real estate, media, marketing, or a service-based business
Sales or business development background
Experience scaling a team or operation
Familiarity with creative workflows (photo/video is a plus, not a requirement)
